Wonderful friendly staff and an old fashioned owner who greets all of his customers and even hands out the odd free drink.
The food is fresh and excellent quality and is CHEAP by standards in the Hamptons.
The restaurant in New York is even better with a majestic large space but this is my favorite place in the Hamptons (overall)

Seems there have some changes at Almond over the past year, and I approve of all of them! They have always put out great food, but it seems lately they have "uped the ante". Cozy, bistro atmosphere, more choices on the menu (don't miss the short ribs!) and the hostess/manager always remembers who you are!
