I think the sushi is great at all of Tony's Asian fusion restaurants - so is the Chinese and Thai. I have never had anything I wouldn't order a second time. And I agree with happychik86 -- the ambience is very pleasing.

It's not much to look at,but the food is very good. I will drive all the way from Hampton Bays to Riverhead to get the pepper steak or steak and onions.
Orlando's Cafe Aug 22, 09 12:12 PM
Very nice staff but this is not a "sit-down" restaurant. You stand in line to order and then take your food to a table. I had a good breakfast there.
Ming Garden Aug 22, 09 12:09 PM
Fair Chinese food. The wonton soup was a little tasteless and the Kung Pau chicken was mostly celery and water chestnuts.
Tide Runners Aug 22, 09 12:06 PM
May be good for drinking and partying, but the food is just fair and it is overpriced. The location on the canal is very nice.

Fabulous breakfast!!! You will wait on a Sunday, but it is worth it.
Francesca's Pizzeria Aug 22, 09 11:59 AM
The pizza is OK, but it is a primarily a pizza parlor. Wouldn't go here for dinner
Trumpets On The Bay Aug 22, 09 11:55 AM
I have had some memorable and lovely meals here. The view is gorgeous. You can watch the swans swimming on the bay.
Lin's Kitchen Aug 22, 09 11:53 AM
Inexpensive, but be careful what you order. The pepper steak had too little steak, and too many thickly cut peppers.
Stone Creek Inn Aug 22, 09 11:49 AM
Wonderful and creative menu. Good chef. A little pricy and during one dining experience I felt rushed by the wait staff.
Digger's Restaurant Aug 22, 09 11:17 AM
Great corned beef sandwich and corned beef salad. Good place for a burger anytime.
Tony's Fusion Express Aug 22, 09 11:15 AM
Good for take out. If you want to stay to eat, go down the road to Tony's Asian Fusion reatuarant in Quogue. Same owner -- better dining experience.
Matsulin Asian Food Aug 22, 09 11:11 AM
Presentation is good and most often the food is good; only once did I choose something that wasn't fantastic. Just a little pricy.

I love eating here! The food is authentic and delicious. Try the sushi and/or one of the duck dishes (Peking or Crispy). The atmosphere is very pleasant with a great salt water fish tank and water fountain. If you are looking for good Chinese or other Asian food, it is the best I have found on the East end.
Buckley's Inn Between Aug 22, 09 10:58 AM
Good place to go for a decent meal anytime. The burgers are good, but I love the Chicken Pot Pie and the Shepherd's pie.
Canal Cafe Aug 22, 09 10:52 AM
Fun place to go on the weekend. Hard to find it in the dark ,so be persistent if you miss the sign the first time down the block. It's always crowded. I agree that the sweet potato fries are great -- and I like them with the crab cakes. A real treat! Nice location right on the canal. For the price though, it would be nice to get real silverware rather than plastic.
Edgewater Restaurant Aug 22, 09 10:40 AM
Good food and a great view. If the weather is nice, sit outside on the deck. The two for one deal during the week is great.

I had the most wonderful dinner here two weeks ago. The hanger steak would melt in your mouth. The creamed spinich was the best I have ever eaten. They didn't have a liquor licence as yet, but this was the only down side. (I hear they will have it before Labor Day) The meal was the best I have had in the Hamptons--and I been spending summers here since childhood. The chef (Chis) came out to say hello, and he was as charming as he is talented. It was an excellent dining experience!
