fundcrowd, food is average and prices are up there for the quality but it is a nice relaxing spot
Copa Wine Bar Feb 14, 10 2:46 PM
Excellent bar-tender, plus the owner Cosmo is very friendly and accommodating, the Paul Mahos music on Thu/Sat is just brilliant
This attracts a nice fun crowd from all over LI, it is not stuffy and the food was good
Clam Bar at Napeague Feb 14, 10 2:39 PM
Good chowder
Indian Wells Tavern Feb 14, 10 2:34 PM
ho hum, like something out of a 70s pub scene in London
food was okay, service leads a lot to be desired
Cittanuova Nov 21, 09 5:37 PM
Great scene, beautiful people, great staff and excellent salads and brekky
Babette's Nov 21, 09 5:36 PM
Brilliant brekky food, the best omelettes ever and great service.

It is pricey but hey for a 5 egg (organic) omelette filled with the world, you get plenty of bang for your buck
Dockers Waterside Restaurant & Marina Nov 21, 09 5:35 PM
Wonderful location, pretty wait -staff (college kids in summer), fund bands and a lively bar scene with excellent grub and beaut sunsets... what more could you want

We go here every week and are yet to have anything but a brilliant time.
New Moon Cafe Nov 21, 09 5:33 PM
Lovely owners and they get a regular crowd of locals and temps alike. The ribs here were good and the missus enjoyed her fish

Kind of like a Tex-Mex pub crossed with a restaurant but we have been many times and never had a bad meal.

The service is friendly and efficient
Barrister's Restaurant Nov 21, 09 5:31 PM
Great lunch place and drinking spot, always friendly
Le Chef Nov 21, 09 5:30 PM
Reliable excellent food. The crowd is full of altercockers but given the moderate prices at least someone out here knows quality.

The wine list is on the cheap side and they get an active bar crowd.
Pierre's Nov 21, 09 5:29 PM
Excellent salads at lunch, quick attentive service and great ambience.
Almond Nov 21, 09 5:28 PM
Wonderful friendly staff and an old fashioned owner who greets all of his customers and even hands out the odd free drink.

The food is fresh and excellent quality and is CHEAP by standards in the Hamptons.

The restaurant in New York is even better with a majestic large space but this is my favorite place in the Hamptons (overall)
Stone Creek Inn Nov 21, 09 5:26 PM
The 1st time we went in the off-season the food was excellent.

the 2nd time we went with a party of 6 and 2 of the mains came out RAW, yes two veal chops came out not even rare BUT NOT cooked. Also, they tried to palm off a 2007 Pitite Sirah as a 2003 off their wine list. When I nicely suggested they change the vintage on their menu, their sommelier made a big scene.
Maybe this was but an off night on what was a very busy weekend.

I have many friends who regard this as the BEST restaurant in the Hamptons but by NYC standards it rates as merely average to poor IMO

We will return this winter to give them another go as so many people rave about the food
Quogue East Pub Nov 21, 09 5:22 PM
Fun place. Wed nights are fun and the staff are great
Joe's Grill Nov 21, 09 5:22 PM
God, an over-rated diner with worse ambience
Finn's Nov 21, 09 5:21 PM
Freindly staff and excellent pub fare with good beers at moderate prices
Firehouse Pizza Nov 21, 09 5:20 PM
Brilliant stuff, we went there 3 minutes to closing one night recently and the owner was so nice to us.

This is the way PIZZA in NY used to be, beautifully hand made with love and care, superb flavors and well cooked
