THINKING FORWARD LECTURE SERIES-Equality Matters in the Hamptons- Burying our heads in the sand? An open dialog about race and segregation with Khalil Gibran Muhammad moderated by Ken Miller. Presented by the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center in partnership with Guild Hall. Khalil Gibran Muhammad is a professor of History, Race and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and the Suzanne Young Murray Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies. He is the former Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a Harlem-based branch of the New York Public Library system and one of the world’s leading research facilities dedicated to the history of the African diaspora. Ken Miller a financier, civil rights activist and long time advisory board member at the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center. A talk to open your eyes and your minds.
