Terrence Harold Hull died at his home in San Francisco. He was 50.
Mr. Hull was born on October 2, 1968, at Southampton Hospital. He attended Southampton High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona in 1992. He also earned a certificate in French from the Sorbonne while studying in Paris.
Survivors described Mr. Hull as charming, witty, fun and compassionate, and well-loved by his friends and family. He could talk to anyone about a variety of topics and was passionate about travel, sports, history, cooking, wine, nature and music, with a special love for the opera and reggae. He was most passionate about skiing, traveling the country and the world to many destinations. He loved grilling outdoors, walking on the beach and fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Hull IV and Kathleen H. Hull; and his brother, Mark Foster Hull. He is survived by his brothers, identical twin Timothy Halton Hull and wife Geraldine French Hull; children, Devon Kathleen and Peyton Susanna Hull of Southampton, James Geoffrey Hull of Southampton, and Arthur B. Hull V and husband Wayne Whipple of Vermont. He also leaves his longtime companion, Christiane Pelz, and their adopted rescue cat, Sochi.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Connell Rothwell Funeral Home in Southampton, with visitation set for Friday, June 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton.
