• The Water Mill Bridge Club held its 15th annual Lipetz-Brennan Silver Bowl Championship bridge game on October 11. Last year's winners Ed Brennan, formerly of Bridgehampton and Geoff O'Connor of Southampton, again won the silver bowl. The game is held in honor of Maire Lipetz, who was a champion bridge instructor and player for over 50 years and her long-time student, friend and now champion player and partner, Ed Brennan. Ed now resides in England but makes the trip back to his home town each year to play in and present the trophy to the winners. Kathy McLauchlen presents the trophy.
Submitted Oct 15
