Bethenny Frankel, one of the “Real Housewives of New York City” on Bravo, is the latest celebrity who appears to be a serial buyer of properties in the Hamptons.
Her latest acquisition, according to the folks at Town & Country Real Estate, is a former bed-and-breakfast inn in Bridgehampton known as the Morning Glory House. The purchase price is yet to be revealed, but the last listing for the 7-bedroom, 5.5-bath house, which clocks in at 4,239 square feet, was $2,490,000. The main house was built in 1910 and sits on a cozy 0.6 acre. More recently, the residence underwent a renovation by the architect Brian O’Keefe of BOKA. We’re told that the “gracious formal entry hall sets the tone with dark, hardwood floors illuminated by a skylight. A hand-carved staircase, and board and batten details.” Amenities include an exercise room, in-ground swimming pool, and bluestone patios.
Ms. Frankel bought her first piece of property in the Hamptons four years ago, also in Bridgehampton. Reportedly, this new acquisition at 2623 Montauk Highway (the south side) is an investment opportunity. It also seems to be part of an expanding portfolio. Ms. Frankel is the co-host of a new TV show about to make its debut, “Keeping It Real Estate.” Her other business ventures include the Skinnygirl cocktail and snack brand. Can the “Real Housewives of Bridgehampton” be far behind?
