Once again, Bridgehampton is asserting itself as one of the hot spots in real estate this summer. A few recent transactions back up that claim.
Topping the heap is 9 Morgan Hill Way, which has sold for $14.95 million. Perhaps what’s most impressive about this property is its size at 11.54 acres. The new owner—a limited liability company—now enjoys a 12,000-square-foot residence with nine bedrooms and eight baths, which overlooks Kellis Pond. The residence also offers expansive common areas, a steam room, a gym, a home theater, and a wine cellar inside. Outside, there is a tennis court, a pool, a playground with playhouse, a dock, and acres of riding fields.
Another handsome sale in the hamlet was 98 Point Mecox Road, which was purchased—also by an LLC—for $8.15 million. On 1 acre, the 5,000-square-foot house has five bedrooms and 6.5 baths. Prime features include a formal dining room, a media room, an office, a new saltwater pool, and access to Mecox Bay for boating and kayaking, plus plenty of decking to enjoy the water views.
A third sale that brought in a pretty penny was 374 Pauls Lane, only a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. The 6,400-square-foot farmhouse on 1.5 acres, which sold for $4.76 million, has eight bedrooms and nine baths. Amenities include first- and second-floor master suites, a tennis court, lush landscaping, and pond views.
And we don’t want to forget 94 Ocean Road, which sold for $4.7 million. On 0.7 acre the 4,340-square-foot house has four bedrooms and three baths with pond views. Pull out of the driveway, and it is a straight run down the road to the ocean.
Based on the pace of real estate activity in this Southampton Town hamlet, it is likely that we will be highlighting Bridgehampton again very soon.
