Camellias and carnivores will be the focus of two separate events this weekend sponsored by the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons.
On Saturday, April 26, at 10 a.m., Bridget DeCandido will moderate a free informal study and discussion session to which all camellia lovers are invited. Later that day, “Carnivores in Captivity” will be the topic at 1 p.m., when Eric Kunz gives a talk on the advantages of keeping carnivorous plants both indoors and out. Admission is $15, or $10 for Horticultural Alliance members.
Both events will take place in the Horticultural Library on the ground floor of the Bridgehampton Community House. For more information, call 537-2223 or email hahmember@optonline.net.
