Visitors to Arf’s adoption center on Daniels Hole Road in Wainscott could stop to meet the dogs at 18 stations, with a dog and volunteer at each table, and, if they liked, use a pen with a silk rose at the top to rate each potential adoptee on a scale of 1 to 10. A high score entitled them to first crack at a second date, explained Jamie Berger, ARF’s marketing director, on Saturday.
