The Hampton Bays softball team picked up a non-
league victory on Monday, defeating Comsewogue, 15-3, at home.
After Comsewogue scored two runs in the first inning, Hampton Bays responded in the second, scoring eight runs. The Lady Baymen added three more runs in the fourth, then four runs in the fifth to end the game early.
Hampton Bays eighth-grader Marley Tyler pitched the entire game and allowed one earned run on four hits, striking out two while not allowing a walk. Senior Nicole Yeager went 2 for 3 with a solo home run in the second inning and finished with two RBIs, while junior Davie Romer went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs.
