It was reported in the “Contractor Horror Story With A Happy Ending” feature in the January 3 issue of Residence that “Ocean Homes LLC owner Jim Reiher of Quogue went to trial at Suffolk County Supreme Court in Riverhead against Anthony Bonner, owner of Westhampton Beach-based Sea Level Construction,” based on information provided by Mr. Reiher. Upon further investigation, the Press has learned that Sea Level Construction Inc. was the Plaintiff in that action and not the Defendant and further that after the trial was subsequently completed, Mr. Reiher’s corporation settled and paid Sea Level most of the money which was claimed by it to be due.
