East End dance and theater troupe Our Fabulous Variety Show will present its fourth annual tap dance show, “Tap: An Evening of Rhythm,” with four performances over the weekend of May 4 to 6 at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

The show gives an overview of tap from its historical roots to contemporary dance. Directed and choreographed by OFVS co-founders Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, with additional choreography by Colleen Edwards, “Tap” will include performances by Ms. Boyer, Aaron Tolson and his pre-professional tap dance company Speaking in Taps, the OFVS dancers and Dancehampton’s Tap Army. The dancers will range in age from 8 to 82 and, in addition to tap, the show will feature jazz and a Rockettes-inspired precision style number.

Actors Joe Pallister and Edward Kassar, both veterans of East End stages, will serve as hosts.

OFVS is seeking submissions of photographs of veterans to project on a screen during a tribute performance set to “Armed Forces Medley.” The number was choreographed in memory of 1st Lieutenant Michael Runyan who was killed in action in July 2010 while serving in Iraq, according to OFVS. Photographs, names, service branch, and dates of service may be emailed to ourfabulousvarietyshow@gmail.com.

Showtimes for “Tap: An Evening of Rhythm” are Friday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 5, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 6, at 2 p.m. Admission ranges from $20 to $55.

Also presented by OFVS at Guild Hall over the weekend will be “Vaudeville Cabaret” on Sunday, May 6, at 6 p.m. featuring drag queen divas RaffaShow (Danny Ximo), Naomi (Robert Kohnken) and Rusty Nails (John Messina) The show will also feature local musicians and singers, Dancehampton company dancers, and the OFVS improv crew: Ms. Boyer, Ms. Klimiuk, Mr. Pallister, Kristen Lee Curcie and Anthony D’Alessio. Tickets are $25.
