sure...if you want more crime, higher taxes, MS-13 on the corner, less liberty, PC Nazis telling you what to think, how to speak, mandatory soy consumption, selling out citizens to illegal aliens (they ain't immigrants), a hobbled military, even worse healthcare (you are going to pay for the illegals free stuff dummy), etc.

Whenever I hear someone complaining about having to be "PC" I just assume they want to go back to a time when they could call people racial epithets without consequence.
By Fore1gnBornHBgrown (7299), HAMPTON BAYS on Oct 29, 18 8:28 AM
you would be wrong.
By Preliator Lives (424), Obamavillie on Oct 29, 18 9:13 AM
I certainly could be, so what does being PC mean to you?

What are the words you want to be allowed to say again?

There's some things I've heard that made my eyes roll, like a woman who didn't like the use of "dad-joke", but things like trying to remember to refer to your trans neighbor with their chosen pronoun are a small price to pay for a society that wouldn't marginalize my own child or grandchild if they were transgender.

You are living in trumps world of always being the victim. Give, say three examples of political correctness. If you can’t think of three, do two.

The concept of "cultural appropriation", changing Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples Day and the left freaking out when they hear dissenting opinions, eg. Berkeley.

Isn't it wrong to portray or display another culture in a way that's offensive? Can't you think of ways Christianity has been offensively appropriated?

Why is it wrong to collectively decide that Columbus is not deserving of a federal holiday? Why do you want to erase his wrongdoings from history?

Simon & Schuster has cancelled the publication of Milo Yiannopoulos’ book, and his fellow Breitbart employees have reportedly threatened to quit if he is not fired.Simon & Schuster’s decision follows outrage over a recording that appeared to show Yiannopoulos endorsing sex between “younger boys” and older men. The remarks were made during an internet livestream and circulated in an edited video on Twitter.

Bitter Freddy: once again you prove my point, the ALT LEFT is incredibly intolerant of dissenting opinion and immediately besmirches the speaker. You and the rest of your fascist consorts are hypocritical animals.
By bigfresh (4490), north sea on Oct 29, 18 6:56 PM
Jeez Freddy, since when does the left not condone buggery on all levels?

So, millions upon millions - billions - of votes cast since 2000 - no checks and balance in place to verify legitimacy of voter rolls...and only "100 cases of voter fraud since 2000."

Right.

Did the commission review the legitimacy of voter rolls in relation to citizenship? No it did not.

Wasn't the voter fraud commission created to substantiate Trump's claims that millions of undocumented citizens fraudulently voted in the 2016 election?

Didn't they fail to find any corroborating evidence of widespread voter fraud?

By Po Boy (4635), Water Mill on Oct 30, 18 2:23 PM
The question is not whether non-citizens are on the voter rolls, but whether they vote fraudulently. Nice red herring, though.
By Fore1gnBornHBgrown (7299), HAMPTON BAYS on Oct 30, 18 2:28 PM
They were tossed out of court, shoddy lawyering. Kobach is a disgrace and fraud.
By Fred s (2865), Southampton on Oct 30, 18 2:35 PM
"The question is not whether non-citizens are on the voter rolls, but whether they vote fraudulently"

Exactly!

The question should be how many non-citizens are on the voting rolls and voting. If a non-citizen is voting, that is voter fraud by default as it its negating legitimate votes.

By Po Boy (4635), Water Mill on Oct 30, 18 2:49 PM
And no evidence of widespread voter fraud, including by non-citizens, was found.

President Trump does not keep America safe; he has failed in his one clear responsibility. The Wall could have easily been built using the Coast Guard construction budget, just like that useless tower and the extra building on their property in Hampton Bays and the silly multi-million dollar fishing pier nearby built with money that was supposed to be for people's Sandy flooded homes but was stolen by Congressman Zeldin in a blindingly hypocritical attempt to buy votes. Instead, by not building ...more

A snippet from Propublica.Org....Kobach’s recent legal struggles have been widely reported. In June, a federal judge handed him a sweeping courtroom defeat, overturning a Kansas law that required proof of citizenship to register to vote. The judge went so far as to order him to attend six hours of continuing legal education after he repeatedly botched basic courtroom procedure. Another recent Kobach endeavor, a federal commission aimed at combating voter fraud, which he co-chaired, shut down ...more

But in bills, lawsuits, and regulations, they’ve worked to do the very opposite.Trump’s own administration imposed new rules just last week that would make it easier for insurance providers to discriminate against sick consumers.

But you understand term limits would make elected officials even more cozy with lobbyists than they are now, right?

Being able to make a career out of politics means being able to represent your constituents without caring about how you'll be treated by private industry when you term-limit out.
