Andromeda’s Sisters, a fundraising “gala of powerful acts and advocacy” comes to East Hampton’s Guild Hall for two dates in June. The event is organized by the East End arts education and outreach group The Neo-Political Cowgirls, which honors female theater artists and advocates for positive change. Andromeda’s Sisters will celebrate and articulate women’s interests, voices, livelihoods and issues through a series of short play readings by screen stars on Friday, June 14, followed by an interactive creativity workshop on Sunday, June 23.

The June 14 event begins with a garden cocktail party at 7 p.m. followed by one-act plays starring actresses Catherine Curtin from “Stranger Things,” Laura Gomez from “Orange Is the New Back,” Ellen Dolan from “Guiding Light,” Tamara Tunie from “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” Blythe Danner from “Meet the Parents” and Susie Essman from “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Playwrights include Joy Behar of “The View,” Lucy Boyle, Julia Jordan, Anna Ziegler, Liana Sonenclar, Margo Hammond and Suzanne Bradbeer.

Part two of Andromeda’s Sisters on Sunday, June 23, will feature a “Deep Dive Creative Workshop for Women” led by Sarah Greenman, the operations director of Statera Arts, an advocacy group that promotes women into full and equal participation of the arts.

Participants can attend one or both events by purchasing tickets at npcowgirls.org. Tickets for either day are $50 ($75 includes the cocktail party on June 14), or $100 for an all-inclusive VIP pass for both days. Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street, East Hampton.
