While the East Hampton boys lacrosse team made the playoffs for just the third time in nine years last season, it has yet to win a postseason contest and head coach Mike Vitulli would like to change that.
The Bonackers lost six seniors to graduation last year, including goalkeeper Mark Simmons, attacker Mike Fitzgerald and defender Jared Bowe, but all the top players have returned with another year of experience behind them. This Wednesday, four of the team’s best seniors, including Tyler Brenneman, Austin Heneveld, Jake Beyer and Ryan Shaw are signing to play with Division I schools next year and they should continue to be powerful additions to the Bonackers this season.
