Lillian M. Kohler of East Quogue died at her home on April 9 after a long illness. She was 90.
Ms. Kohler was an active member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Hampton Bays, serving on the vestry, the Altar Guild and in the choir. She was also active with the Riverside-Sunrise Chapter #399 Order of the Eastern Star in Riverhead, where she was a past matron.
Predeceased by her husband, William H. Kohler, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy Lynch of Westhampton Beach; a son, William Kohler and wife Cheryl of Virginia; and two grandchildren, Kristen Yeatts and husband Brad, and Ian Kohler. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Evan Yeatts and Claire Yeatts; and a sister, Catherine Reid of Orangeburg.
Visiting hours, and Eastern Star services, were held on April 13 at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral service took place on April 14 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church; Pastor Philip Hubbard officiated.
