Ellen M. Williams
Ellen Marie Williams of East Quogue died at the Central Island Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, October 15. She was 62.
Born December 22, 1948, in Bethpage to Louis and Cynthia Haun, she attended Riverhead High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree at Southampton College and her Master of Business Administration at Virginia Tech University. She the treasurer for the East Quogue School District for 27 years, as well as a self-employed accountant 28 years.
She was an active member of the East Quogue Chamber of Commerce and attended Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Ms. Williams enjoyed working around her home and was an avid tennis player for 20 years. She loved to play at local tennis courts from East Quogue to Westhampton and Tiana shores. She... more
