As you probably already know, my ring-necked pheasant is quite the attraction in my wildlife garden. One of his biggest fans is Eileen Schwinn, president of the Eastern Long Island Audubon Society.
Eileen lives less than five minutes away from me so every time “Mr. P.” is spotted in the garden, I call her only to have him disappear into the woods the minute she drives up.
