Clifford Coleman of Baiting Hollow, formerly of East Quogue, died at his home on February 20. He was 67.
Mr. Coleman was a retired director in weights and measures for the Suffolk County Department of Consumer Affairs, retiring after 42 years. He was also a past vice president of the Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees, former member of the Quogue Gun Club, former member of the Antique Car Club of America, and past vice president of the Woodcrest Homeowners Association and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marjorie (Braun); two daughters, Debra A. Rupprecht and husband Craig of Baiting Hollow and Melissa Mohan and husband Andrew of New Jersey; and four grandchildren, Jacqueline Mohan, Allyson Rupprecht, Theodore Mohan and Owen Rupprecht.
Cremation took place on February 23 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches. The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
