A 17-year-old Eastport South Manor Junior-Senior High School senior was arrested last week, six months after Suffolk County Police said he broke into a parked car in Manorville, took the victim’s wallet and then used the stolen credit cards to buy items.
Police said the teenager, who The Press is not identifying because he is a minor, broke into a car parked on Golf Club Circle in Manorville in July.
He was arrested last Thursday, January 12, and charged with one count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, according to authorities. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 4 years in prison and pay a fine.
