Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to your opponent, and that’s what the Eastport South Manor girls basketball team was forced to do during its only game last week.
The Lady Sharks suffered a 53-31 loss against Harborfields, one of the league’s top three teams, at home on January 27.
The loss moved ESM to 4-4 in League V play with four games remaining on the league schedule. The squad needs to split the final four to stay at .500 and earn a spot in the Class AA playoffs.
