Barbara Butts of East Hampton died on May 4, just one day after her 99th birthday.

Born in Wooster, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Marshall Mitchell and Mary Foley. A devoted homemaker, she loved cake, cookies and tea time, said survivors. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and being with her family.

Ms. Butts was predeceased by her first husband, Frederick Bahns, and her second husband, George Butts, as well as a daughter, Karen Schreiber. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Dankowski of Wainscott; a son, David Bahns of Springs; four grandchildren, Melissa Schreiber, Paula and Peter Dankowski, and Kendall Bahns; and three great-grandchildren, Betty Marie and Elizabeth Dankowski and Quentin Schreiber.

Visiting hours were held on May 6 at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton with a funeral the following day. Interment was at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery in East Hampton.
