Every now and then a team has a game it would soon like to forget. For the young East Hampton baseball team (0-2), it happened on Saturday against league rival John Glenn (1-1) in a 22-0 defeat.

East Hampton was scheduled to be back on the field on Tuesday, April 2, with a game at Bayport/Blue Point. The Bonackers will host Shoreham/Wading River on Wednesday, April 3, at 4:30 p.m. and will travel to Mount Sinai for a game on Friday, April 5, at 4:30 p.m. East Hampton will begin its first three-game series of the season on Tuesday, April 9, when it hosts Amityville for game one of their set at 4:30 p.m. The Bonackers lost 10-2 to Amityville in their first game of the season. In League VII, teams play every other team in the league once to start the season before beginning three-games series with each team.
