A man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with his 3-year-old son in his car on Friday night.

Glenn A. Kittren, 46, of East Hampton was arrested by East Hampton Town Police at 7:48 p.m. on Friday on Queens Lane and charged with DWI under Leandra’s Law and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Police said Mr. Kittren was stopped for driving a 2002 Subaru with a headlight out near Queens Lane. A further investigation, police said, revealed that Mr. Kittren was intoxicated and his child was in the car.

Mr. Kittren has had at least one prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years, according to police. He was taken to the Town Police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.
