Former Montauk School art teacher Nancy Brunn died at her home in East Hampton on December 31. She was 67.
Born on December 23, 1947, in East Meadow and raised in Bethpage, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New York Institute of Technology and a master’s in education from Southampton College. She had retired after many years at the Montauk School. She was active in the community through Guild Hall and Music for Montauk. Survivors said she enjoyed traveling the world and was a gourmet cook and avid gardener.
Ms. Brunn is survived by a brother, George S. Brunn; three nephews, Todd Brunn, Douglas Brunn, and Keith Brunn; and a niece, Christine Mauro.
A funeral was held on January 2 at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
