Missing Shinnecock Hills Woman Found Safe

UPDATE: Tuesday, 1 p.m.

Ms. Franco was located at a local hospital at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning. According to Detective Sergeant Lisa A. Costa of the Southampton Town Police, she is in good physical health and is being held for evaluation.

No other information is available at this time.


Southampton Town Police are searching for a missing Shinnecock Hills woman who is thought to be suicidal.

Patricia H. Franco, 20, was reported missing on Monday. She was last seen on Friday at her Shinnecock Hills home, police said.

She is described as a Hispanic woman, about 5 feet tall and weighing about 125 pounds.

Police said they’re not sure where Ms. Franco was heading, but that she has family in Puebla, Mexico.
