A new Hampton Coffee Company location is planned on County Road 39 in Southampton near the merge with Montauk Highway.

Construction crews have been working inside the former Mini of Southampton dealership, which is owned by BMW, for the past month and put up a Hampton Coffee Company sign this week.

Jason Belkin, CEO of the company, did not immediately return phone calls for comment on Wednesday morning.

The new location will be one of three in the Hamptons—the original store in Water Mill, and one in Westhampton Beach.

The Hampton Coffee Company has been around since 1994, when Mr. Belkin and his wife, Theresa, started a small espresso bar and coffee micro-roastery in Water Mill. In 2006, the couple opened up the Westhampton Beach location, and five years ago the couple expanded their company’s reach with a mobile espresso unit—a 23-foot-long custom-made Mercedes-Benz van—that serves coffee and baked goods at events and parties each summer.
