The Hampton Bays baseball team was swept by Mattituck in a three-game series last week.
The Baymen lost the first game of the series, 11-1, at Mattituck on April 9, lost the second game at home, 14-4, the following day, and then lost the series finale, 4-3, on Thursday, April 11.
Hampton Bays fell to 0-6 in League VIII play, 1-7 overall.
Hampton Bays Softball
The Lady Baymen lost their lone game last week, 8-0, at Shoreham/Wading River on April 10.
Jade Zaluski was the only Hampton Bays batter to get a clean hit off Shoreham starting pitcher Chelsea Hawks, who allowed three hits and struck out 11 with no walks.
Hampton Bays had a non-league game scheduled for Saturday against Central Islip, but it was canceled due to poor field conditions resulting from the storm the previous day.
The Lady Baymen are 2-3 in League VI.
Hampton Bays Boys Lacrosse
After losing, 18-1, at Bayport/Blue Point on April 10, the Baymen lost, 16-0, at Elwood/John Glenn on Saturday.
Sean Grisman scored the lone goal for Hampton Bays in the loss to Bayport.
The Baymen are 0-5 in Division II and are still looking for the first varsity victory in program history.
Hampton Bays Girls Lacrosse
The Lady Baymen ended up playing one game last week and lost, 18-2, at home to Miller Place on April 9. Their game on Friday against Comsewogue was postponed due to inclement weather.
Haley Wood and Nikki Nolan scored the two goals for Hampton Bays in the loss to Miller Place.
Just like the boys, the girls are still searching for their first varsity victory and are 0-4 in Division II.
Westhampton Beach Softball
The Lady Hurricanes lost, 10-8, at home to East Hampton on April 8, then lost, 4-1, at Sayville on Thursday, April 11. Westhampton Beach is 0-5 to start the season.
