Jane Ellen Rossetti Of Southampton Dies October 6

Oct 17, 2017 11:55 AM

Jane Ellen (Beyerman) Rossetti of Southampton, formerly of Floral Park, died at Southampton Hospital on October 6, 2017. She was 72.

Ms. Rossetti was born on December 7, 1944, in Floral Park to Harry and Gertrude Beyerman. She graduated with an associate’s degree from Farmingdale State College. She was an illustrator prior to marrying Robert J. Rossetti of Garden City and Southampton on April 8, 1972. They raised two daughters, Diana and Kate.

Ms. Rossetti was a loving wife and mother who always put family first, survivors said. She loved going to the beach in Southampton Shores, gardening, entertaining and spending time with her six grandchildren, family and friends. Her grandchildren loved being with their “Nana” and she never missed an opportunity to be with them. The Rossetti family went on many trips, with Disney World being one of their favorite destinations. Family and friends describe her as funny, creative and a caring listener; she made everyone around her feel as though they had a special connection and bond with her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Rossetti; two daughters, Diana Esposito and husband Jeffrey and their four children, Jake, Brooke, Ryder and Zoe of Sag Harbor; and Kate E. McManus and husband Gilbert and their two children, Sabrina and Violet of Sag Harbor. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Minogue and husband Joseph; and two brothers-in-law and their wives; a sister-in-law and her husband and six nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton.
