Robert Tesori died on May 8, 2019, at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 95.
He was born on April 19, 1924, in Manhattan to Antonino and Angelina Tesoriero, and lived most of his life in Great Neck and Southampton, NY.
Mr. Tesori, known to all as “Bob,” was an accomplished attorney. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in 1949 and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1950. He received his license to practice law in New York in 1951.
Before going to college, he served in the armed forces during World War II and was stationed near Fairbanks, Alaska.
An avid golfer, he was a member of the Southampton Golf Club for more than 55 years.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Gilda Tesoriero of Port Washington; seven nieces and nephews and their children; as well as many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony J. Tribuno and Joseph A. Tesoriero.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton.
