The Artists' Garden East Summer Camp Begins July 8

author on Jun 11, 2019

Registration is now open for The Artists’ Garden Summer Camp. Held in the upstairs gallery of Southampton Soap Company at 30 Jagger Lane in Southampton Village, the eight-week camp offers creative, simple, mindful lessons for ages 7 to 12. Sessions begin July 8 and run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon through August 30. Activities include art, movement and breathwork, and a reflective circle time to create a sense of wonderment by connecting with nature. The mission of The Artists’ Garden East is to nurture a love of nature through art.

A portion of the proceeds from the camp will help fund development of a herb garden and special programs for The Artists’ Garden East, an interactive community teaching garden in the greenspace outside 30 Jagger Lane. The goal is to foster an appreciation of art, nature and the power of plants.

Space is limited to 12 campers per session with a discount for multiple weeks. Early bird discount ends June 30. Visit southamptonsoapcompany.com or call 631-287-7627 for more information.
