Southampton Town Police Search For Culprits After Noyac Garage Burglarized

Aug 28, 2019 11:40 AM

A garage on Noyac Road in Noyac was recently burglarized, and the culprits got away with at least $2,100 in cash and equipment, according to police.

The incident was reported to the Southampton Town Police at 9:51 a.m. on August 21 by Gregory Miller, 31, of Sag Harbor, who owns Greg’s Garage.

According to the incident report, “unknown persons” entered the property and stole $1,500 in cash along with an $800 backpack leaf blower.

That day, Mr. Miller posted to social media that his garage had been burglarized by three men, one of whom left tools with the name “Diego” on them.

Police heavily redacted the report, but said Mr. Miller would be putting together a complete list of missing items, along with the serial number of the leaf blower, to assist with the investigation.

Calls to Greg’s Garage to reach Mr. Miller were not successful, as the shop is closed until the end of August.

Police are currently investigating the matter.
