Joseph H. Redding died at his Southampton home, in his sleep, on Thursday, November 6. He was 80.
Mr. Redding was born near Pittsburgh on July 3, 1934. He grew up in the Pittsburgh area and attended Carnegie Mellon, from which he received his undergraduate and master’s degrees. Survivors said he loved to play golf and always made time to stop and speak with everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Christina; seven children, Caasi, Joseph Jr., Mark, Caroline, Danielle, Nicole and Vicky; and 20 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church on South Main Street in Southampton on Saturday, November 22, at 11 a.m.
