The East Hampton Library will host the final event in its 2025 Tom Twomey Series on Saturday, November 8, with “Biography as Pilgrimage: On the Trail of Peter Matthiessen.” The program is co-sponsored by The Peter Matthiessen Center. 'The Bonackers' To Screen in Amagansett

The documentary “The Bonackers” will screen at the Amagansett Life Saving Station on Atlantic Avenue on Saturday, October 25, at 5 p.m. The event will open with David Cataletto and his crew performing sea shanties, followed by the film screening. Producer and director Joanne Friedland Roberts will be on hand for a Q&A session after the film. Space is limited, and advance registration is required at amagansettlss.org. East Hampton Food Pantry Asks for Support

The East Hampton Food Pantry reports that its annual food drive, which began October 6 and continues through November 14, is already halfway to its goal of 3,000 pounds of food. Much of the progress has come through the online platform yougivegoods.com. Meanwhile, the pantry has served more than 1,000 clients so far this year — 200 more than during the same week last year and 300 more than the same week in 2023. East Hampton Students Earn Music Kudos

Several East Hampton High School students have been selected to participate in the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME) All-County Honors choir, band and orchestra, as well as All-State music festivals. Representing East Hampton in the All-County Choir are Wilmer Verdugo, Samuel Rafferty, Valentina Vergara, Skylar Hand, Patrick Conlon, Alessa Picco, Emma Hand, and Maya Diaz.
