Southampton Town Police Arrest Two Men For Stealing, Beating Up Man

Southampton Town Police arrested two men this week for stealing from a man and injuring him in the process.

Timothy P. Gallo, 25, of Water Mill, and Maxwell B. Byrne, 25, of Southampton, were both arrested and charged with two counts of robbery in the second degree, a felony, and assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. According to a press release from Town Police, the two men forcibly stole property from a man on Monday around 12:30 p.m. on Kenwood Road after punching him and kicking him, causing contusions and abrasions to his head and face.

Mr. Gallo was arrested shortly after the incident and is being held at the Suffolk County Jail in Riverhead in lieu of $100,000 bail. Mr. Byrne turned himself in to police on Tuesday.

Look at all of Gallo's arrests on the internet. So far looks like a career criminal. Always stealing money. Wonder what for? Sag Harbor, Hofstra, what else? Nice high bail though

Imagine the indignity of the man described in the headline! In addition to now being injured, he must search for his rightful owner, from whom he was stolen.
