Last year’s Hamptons home sales may have broken records, but, so far, 2015 sales haven’t exactly been chump change, either. A sleek 7-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in Bridgehampton recently sold for $27.5 million.
Perched on 1.3 acres, the 7,354-square-foot waterfront home appears to have all the aesthetic makings of a new, modern abode, with a blend of wood, glass and stone—it also boasts large panoramic windows for, presumably, amazing viewing opportunities.
Located at 263 Surfside Drive, the home has Simeon Derenshteyn as the listed taxpayer since 2011, according to Southampton Town documents. The buyer is cloaked by a limited liability company known as Surfside Drive 263 LLC, which is registered to the National Registered Agents in New York City, an attorneys referral and information service.
Could this sale be a harbinger of another boom year for large-scale home purchases in the Hamptons? Only time will tell.
