If you want to call East Hampton Town Hall today, you’d better be sure of the department you’re trying to reach, because there’s no central number.
And if you get the wrong department, there’s a fair chance whoever answers the phone won’t be able to transfer you, because phones at satellite offices are not connected.
If you call during lunchtime and no one picks up the phone at all, you won’t be able to leave a voicemail for a specific person; you’ll have to leave it at a main number and hope whoever gets it transfers it to the right person.
