The East Hampton girls basketball team prevailed in what was essentially a must-win game on Thursday night, beating Bayport/Blue Point, 46-37, on the road to improve to 4-5 in League VI, 7-7 overall. As of Tuesday morning, the Lady Bonackers needed to win two of their last three games to qualify for a playoff berth in Class A. They were slated to take on Shoreham/Wading River (6-4), Amityville (6-3) and Westhampton Beach (4-5) to finish out the regular season.
