The East Hampton Town Board on Tuesday vetted a number of options proposed in a bid by a western Suffolk County-based company to run the town’s scavenger waste plant.
The bid, a response to a town-issued request for proposals, was submitted by a company called East End Processing Corp., which is affiliated with Clear Flo Technologies, Inc., according to Mark Wagner, an engineer with Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP, who spoke at a Town Board work session this week. Clear Flo Technologies operates a waste treatment facility in North Babylon, he said.
