Let’s give a big shout-out to Rachel Kundrat who has been employed by the Hampton Bays King Kullen for 22 years. You do a great job, Rachel!

More shouting for Simone Scotto! The Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce recently honored Mr. Scotto for his role in organizing the first-ever San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons.

Many thanks to Denise, Alexis and Andrew Rosko, and Bill and Noreen Kelly who hosted Hamptons Realty’s Christmas party. It was a fun evening and we had a great time.

Belated birthday wishes are going out this week to John and Joyce Gilbert, and Kathy Algieri. John’s big day was last Saturday, December 17, and Kathy and Joyce shared a birthday on Monday, December 19.

Happy birthday to Joyce Spellman! Joyce’s day to shine is on Christmas Eve. Chris Steudte’s red-letter day also falls on December 24. Enjoy!

A champagne toast to Rita and Brewster Griffing who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary on Friday, December 30. Brew’s birthday is on New Year’s Eve, December 31.

Are you rushing around looking for that last-minute gift? Don’t forget the gift of history! The Hampton Bays Historical and Preservation Society has a variety of small items for sale. Stop in at the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce office and have a look.

Sue at One Stop Pet Shop would like to let my readers know that they have moved to a new location. The store is now at 611 Hampton Road in Southampton.

The Ponquogue Avenue entrance to our Hampton Bays Public Library is currently under repair. Library patrons are being asked to use the rear entrance and to use the rear book return. The work should take about a week, weather permitting.
