Nancy Ann (Frost) Raynor of Hampton Bays died on June 13, 2018, at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue, of lung cancer. She was 64.
Born May 31, 1954, in Roslyn, one of six siblings, she eventually moved to Hampton Bays where she resided for most of her life. She married John Raynor of Hampton Bays in July 1974. Together they raised three sons, Michael, Brian and Andrew. She worked as a hair stylist for many years. In recent years she worked part time as a clerk for the Hampton Bays Water Authority.
Ms. Raynor was always known for her wonderful laugh, her kind soul and her love for gaming, survivors said. Her favorite game was Bingo. Over the years she enjoyed many trips to Foxwoods. She will be most remembered for her backyard barbecues, where she perfected the art of barbecuing ribs, a skill that has now been passed along to the next generation. She also enjoyed painting and crafting and enjoyed the thrill of a yard sale, especially with her grandchildren.
Ms. Raynor is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Raynor; her children, Michael and wife Kalen of Hampton Bays, Brian and wife Melisa of Hampton Bays, and Andrew and wife Carolyn of Riverhead; and grandchildren, Kaya and Carissa, Ayden, Alivia, Savanna, and Robert Oliver. She is also survived by her mother, Joan Granuzzo of Florida; siblings, Linda Derosa of East Quogue, Michelle Klager of Florida, Kevin Frost of Hampton Bays, Priscilla Hendrickson of Hampton Bays, and their families.
She was predeceased by her father, Donald Frost Sr., and brother, Donald Frost Jr.; her stepfather, Angelo Granuzzo of East Quogue; and a grandson, Andrew Raynor II.
Visitation was held on June 17, with burial on June 18 at Good Ground Cemetery.
