The lone seat up for election in the Sagaponack School District will be uncontested after a former school board member signed up to run for a seat being vacated by current board member Lauren Thayer. Thayer, who has been on the board for six years, chose not to run for a third term, but former board member Brian Villante agreed to run to return to the board in her place.
