Thomas A. Warner of Hampton Bays died at his home on December 6, after a long battle with cancer. He was 68.
Mr. Warner was a master craftsman and the owner of Warner Home Improvement Company in Hampton Bays. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by four children, Thomas A. Warner Jr. and wife Monica of Hampton Bays, Kirk Warner and wife Jennifer of North Sea, Timothy M. Warner and wife Patricia of East Marion and Adriene Miller of Sound Beach. He is also survived by his companion, Joanna Donelan of Hampton Bays; his former wife, Ethel Terry of Orient Point; six grandchildren, Kyle, Wesley, Chris, Robert, Jacob and Shane; and two brothers, Theodore Warner of East Quogue and David Warner of Riverhead.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays; a service will begin at 8 p.m., officiated by the Reverend Lillian Hertel, pastor of the Hampton Bays United Methodist Church. During the service, there will be military honors by the U.S. Navy.
