Move over, Martha Stewart. You’re not the only one with a special dog, these days. Yes, just last week Martha, with the help of a professional trainer, had her chow chow win an award at the famous Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Well, it just so happens that this past week, we have had a very special dog with us, though admittedly her training is somewhat hit or miss. Nevertheless she is the repository for our Sag Harbor family’s joy with a dog that is the champion of the family. Lili, a light coffee-colored, loving labradoodle who turns three years next month, is temporarily residing with us while her family spends the school break at St. John’s.
