Greg Murphy of Shoreham, 41, won the second Nor’ Easter Biathlon in convincing fashion at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor on Sunday morning, beating the course record with a time of 1:08:29.10. He finished the event—a 2-mile trail run followed by a 10-mile trail bike ride and another 2-mile trail run—more than five minutes ahead of the next finisher, Howard Hyman, 45, of Coram (1:13:40.88).
