North Sea Fire Commissioner Craig Robinson dies at 53
North Sea Fire Commissioner Craig Robinson died Friday morning, January 28. He was 53.
A former chief, Mr. Robinson was a 35-year veteran of the North Sea Fire Department and had served as an advisor to the department’s Junior Firefighter program for 23 years.
Mr. Robinson was a mechanic at Peconic Marina in Southampton, which is owned by his father-in-law, Bill Edgar.
Visitation will be at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton on Monday, January 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, February 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with a firematic service at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Southampton.
