Farewell Walk Out Held For Retiring Quogue Police Chief

A farewell “walk out” ceremony for retiring Quogue Police Chief Robert Coughlan was held in the parking lot of the Jessup Avenue police department on Thursday.

Mr. Coughlan, who has been with the department for 40 years, serving as chief since 2001, will be replaced by Lieutenant Christopher Isola.

Lt. Isola's predecessor awarded him with his first set of gold stars, congratulating him on his new position.

Who cares? This police force is a joke they abuse people doing 5 mph over the speed limit on montauk hwy. There is very little crime in Quoque and the force is there to make money.
