Ask twenty writers how they go about their craft, and you might get something close to twenty different answers. In celebration of its 100th anniversary, the library will host a series of Thursday night talks with local authors speaking about their writing process. Tonight’s talk celebrates the love story. From steamy bodice-rippers to tales of the lovelorn, romance novels continue to be a popular favorite, despite economic hard times, and sometimes perhaps, because of them.

Gina Ardito, Candace Gold and Debora Dennis, members of the Dunes and Dreams chapter of the Romance Writers of America will discuss the challenges and joys of writing romance novels and short stories tonight, October 15, at 6:30 p.m.
