A Sag Harbor woman was airlifted to the hospital on Tuesday night after she was struck by an SUV while crossing the street near Otter Pond in the village, Sag Harbor Village Police said.

Jhenny Arias, 36, was crossing Brick Kiln Road from the northwest corner of Main Street to the southwest corner, when she was hit by a 2011 Jeep being driven west on Jermain Avenue by David Corigliano, 60, of East Hampton, officers said. The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Ms. Arias was flown to Stony Brook University Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

Mr. Corigliano was not injured and was not charged with any crimes, police said.

A report did not specify whether he had passengers.

An anonymous caller reported the crash to police.
